Getting Started

Welcome! AANAClassroom is designed to be an easy-to-use program for online learning. Here are some tips to get you started:

Step 1: Purchase your courses. Go back to aanac.org, and select "Purchase courses" from the "Certification & Education" menu. If you are not an AANAC member, join before purchasing your courses to receive the member rate.

Step 2: Go to "My Courses." This page will show you all of the courses in which you are currently enrolled.

Step 3: Click the "Launch" link to the right of the course name. Please note you have 90 days to complete the course from the first time you click the "Launch" link.

Step 4: The online course will guide you through pre-tests, course materials, quizzes, reference materials and your final exam. You don't have to complete an entire course in one sitting. Just click the "Save & Close" button and the site will bookmark your spot for you; you'll be able to return and pick up right where you left off.

Step 5: You will have up to three attempts to pass the final exam. A passing score is 80% or higher.

Step 6: Once you have completed your course, you will have the opportunity to print out a certificate for your continuing education (CE) credits.

Step 7: If you are taking courses to obtain certification, you will receive notification via email once you've successfully completed all ten courses. The "Online Transcript" and "Professional Designation" fields in your contact record will also be automatically updated.

You will receive a certificate and pin in the mail within two weeks of successful completion of the requirements.
